Reliable systems, built to scale.

I've been building for the web since 2016. What started with websites and online stores grew into backend engineering: APIs, workflows and platforms that organisations run their work on.

Today I'm a Tech Lead at Faradah, where I lead a team of 7 engineers building platforms for the waqf sector in Saudi Arabia. I care about clear architecture, code that the next engineer can read, and systems that keep working when usage grows.

  1. Tech Lead / Senior Backend Engineer

    • Lead a team of 7 engineers building Wdeem and Swaqif, owning architecture, code reviews and delivery.
    • Designed a layered Laravel architecture (repositories, services, standard API responses) shared across the team's projects.
    • Built Wdeem's backend: survey-driven document generation, consultation booking with Google Meet, and a multi-stage document review workflow.
    • Built the Laravel backend of Hebaa, a grants management platform for waqfs and donor institutions.

  2. Backend Developer

    • Delivered Laravel platforms for clients: a scholar's content website (Prof. Ahmadza, 2023), an Arabic e-book store with affiliate program (Aawraq, 2024) and a matchmaking platform (Absher Be, 2025).
    • Built the Laravel backend and React front-end of Rosokh and Tasseel, registration and statistics platforms for two Sharia education programmes run by Ilm Association in Riyadh.
    • Built the backend of Connect4Arab, a RADIUS-based network management platform for internet providers and cafés.

    • Built and maintained web applications and marketing automation on System.io and GoHighLevel.
    • Integrated third-party APIs and webhooks to connect campaigns, tracking and reporting.
